Pietro's is my favorite Italian restaurant. Growing up close to the Hill exposed me to top Italian cooking. Pietro's continues that tradition of excellent food at reasonable prices. The portions are enough that I have never walked out with carrying a box of leftovers. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming taking you back to the 60's which isn't a bad thing. Dining in the 60's was relaxed and the service was tops and both are found here. I highly recommend this little jewel of a restaurant.

The atmosphere is outstanding! It is Old St Louis with a very comfortable feel. The staff is very attentive. The food is a very good quality. Would highly recommend it two singles, couples, families, the prices are very reasonable.

I had a wonderful dinner at Pietro's with some friends. They quickly seated our group of 7 with no problem. Every single person was awesome. The food was fantastic. I had ravioli with meat sauce, it was a very large portion. I had enough leftovers for 2 more meals. I will definitely go back!

I've been going here for eons - often for banquets and often with my late grandfather's railroad club Christmas party. Lately, I've been doing mostly carryout out to my folks. Chicken Pietro, Beef Bordelaise, Soto, spaghetti, cavatelli, pastas.... All delicious, consistently, for decades. Here, you can get an all-inclusive beef supper for under $30 in a nice atmosphere. What else is there to say? We are very lucky to have these excellent, affordable family-owned Italian restaurants here in St. Louis.

Another Saturday night and we just wanted drinks and appetizers but not just bar food (nothing wrong with that just not tonight). We headed to Pietro’s knowing they would be busy. They were hopping but a table was open at the bar, which was exactly what we were looking for. You can actually get your whole meal served in the bar if you like! Such a cool dining experience. Highly recommended! The drinks are old school healthy pours and very reasonably priced! The appetizers were fantastic! Best zucchini ever! Fantastic mozzarella triangles. My friend swears that nothing else should be call garlic cheese bread after having it here. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick and friendly! It’s been around a long time for a good reason: quality, price and service! You will not be disappointed!!!

That crispy crust is always a winner. Melted cheese pulls are the best kind of magic. The tangy tomato sauce brings everything together. A sprinkle of oregano makes it sing. It's pizza perfection, pure and simple. Very good Italian restaurant!
